About Us
Competition Corvette was founded as a non-profit organization by a small group of Corvette enthusiasts in the North East Ohio Region.  We are a member of the National Council of Corvette Clubs, (N.C.C.C.), and are one of the sixteen clubs in the East Ohio Region.

The purpose of the club is to promote interest in Corvette ownership, to support local charities, and encourage others to participate in the enjoyment connected with the use of their Corvette.

The N.C.C.C. offers a robust competition series for those members who are interested.

Annualy, in the East Ohio Region alone, there are over 100, sanctioned events hosted by the local club in the region.

Why NCCC?
The National Council of Corvette Clubs, Inc. (NCCC) was founded as an all volunteer, non-profit organization in 1959 by a small group of Corvette owners/enthusiasts!

The purpose of NCCC was (and still is) to promote interest in Corvette ownership and operation, to publish information on the use and operation of the Corvette and to establish an organized effort to encourage others to participate in the enjoyment connected with the use of the Corvette!

Some of the many Benefits you receive from your
National Council of Corvette Clubs Membership are:

Insurance
:  The largest single Benefit most obviously is the insurance program provided by K&K Insurance Company, which is a third party insurance; covering ALL MEETINGS, SOCIALS, CARAVANS, CAR SHOWS and COMPETITION EVENTS.

 Publications
: The Blue Bars magazine is our NCCC Newsletter that is published 4 times a year and is a wonderful example of the Corvette fun that NCCC generates.  Includes many articles generated by NCCC members putting local clubs in the focus and brings forth many interesting articles that come from experiences with the Corvette.

Charity and Grants Program
: In 2006 NCCC donated over $79,000 to the National Kidney Foundation. Each year the Charity Committee selects a new Corvette to be raffled off at the Annual Convention. Over the last 11 years, the National Council has donated over $595,000 to the National Kidney Foundation, our charity of choice.  Also, under the Grants Division, we have a provision for NCCC member hardships.  Each hardship donation is determined by the Charity Committee and the Charity Director.

Competition Program
: NCCC has organized a comprehensive National Competition Program whose purpose is to encourage interactivity between individual Regions and Clubs within NCCC.  We have a set of Rules that are Nationally recognized and followed, a National Points compilation that is maintained by the Vice President of Competition and a Regional Points Standing that each Regional Competition Director is responsible to maintain.
Last year, 245 NCCC Clubs participated in sanctioned events which included a total of 1711 Women and 3219 Men.

NCCC Web Site:  NCCC has a very Impressive Website that connects all of our Regions together. This Website is the main ?hub? for NCCC Members to get all of their information on events and to keep up on the pulse of the NCCC Corvette Membership.  There is a link to just about everything connected to NCCC.  The address is:  www.corvettesnccc.org

NCCC Classified Ads:
These Classified Ads have been extremely effective in the sales of Members' Corvette related items.  This service is found on the NCCC Webpage.

Scholarship Program
: NCCC has given 6 - 8 Scholarships each year to members? children or grandchildren.  Many Regions and/or Clubs choose to donate $500 or more towards these Scholarships.  Many individual Regions and Clubs have their own Scholarship Program where they give Scholarships to their Club Members? children and grandchildren.

NCCC Promotional Displays
: NCCC has two traveling Displays that are shipped out to Member Clubs to use at Club Events or Car Shows to help promote their Club and NCCC.  These Displays have proven to be very effective in showing what NCCC is all about through the use of Pictures, Questions and Answers and a DVD presentation that answers a lot of Questions.  NCCC is a Member of the National Corvette Museum and has a Promotional Kiosk at the Museum.

Future Corvette Owners Association (FCOA)
: Since 1991 Future Corvette Owners Association has been the youth organization of the NCCC.  FCOA?s mission is ?to instill and then maintain an interest in the Corvette hobby within the younger generation?.

Corvette Raffle
:  Each year a new Corvette is raffled off at the NCCC Convention.  The model is selected by the Charity Committee and tickets are sold until the day of the drawing.  Check the website for ticket information and availability.

Annual Conventions
: NCCC hosts an Annual Convention in different parts of our Country each year.  Las Vegas, NV, St. Cloud, MN and Orlando, Florida were the sites for the last three Conventions.  The 2007 Convention will be in Nashville, TN and then on to Tulsa, OK in 2008.  At Convention NCCC Members come together from across the nation for a week of Car Shows, High and Low Speed Autocrosses and Rallies, to enjoy parties and
socialize with friends from coast to coast.
